4. Can I enroll in Medicare Part A and defer Part B if I have employer group coverage?

5. If I am enrolled in an employer group plan when I turn 65, can I leave the group plan and enroll in Medicare coverage?

Yes, you can leave your employer coverage and enroll in Medicare at any time after you are eligible for Medicare. Medicare Part B is generally $174.70 per month (unless you are a high earner).
